Hi and welcome to First Class Glass. We are Caren and Frank Reed. We met and married in California in 1985. We were both born and raised on the East Coast and wanted to ultimately move back. As with most antiques and collectibles dealers we became collectors and then dealers. Caren collects reamers and syrups and Frank collects tin wind-up toys and kids' books. In 1994 we, along with our two beagles and 300+ banana boxes filled with Depression Glass, moved to Maine and started our own mail-order business, First Class Glass. Alas, our beloved Beagles are no longer with us.  We opened a multi-dealer antiques and collectibles mall, Reed's Antiques & Collectibles, on June 3, 1995 and we now have over 100 dealers. We have 5 children, all grown, and 13 wonderful grandchildren.  Yup a real baker's dozen - 6 girls and 7 boys.  WOW!  Our oldest is a senior in college and the most recent was born on 11/17/11.  Grandma's photos are always available!!!  Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your point of view, the kids are scattered throughout the US and we don't get to see them as often as we'd like. However we do have our businesses to keep us busy.
