Depression Stems
Standard Glass Ruby & Crystal
Standard Glass was one of the most prolific companies
of the Depression Era; and, interestingly came into being when a very large plant
belonging to Hocking burned down in 1924. Thus Standard became a subsidiary of
Hocking. Most of Standard's Depression-era glass was cut or etched. The glass
was handmade and done in a variety of colors including green, blue, yellow, pink, topaz,
black, etc. All of the tumblers and goblets listed below have the same etching as shown in
the photo. Please note, the number (#) preceding each item refers to our inventory
number. Please use the number when inquiring or odering. Thank you.
