Depression Stems
Standard Glass Green
Standard Glass was one of the most prolific companies
of the Depression Era; and, interestingly came into being when a very large plant
belonging to Hocking burned down in 1924. Thus Standard became a subsidiary of
Hocking. Most of Standard's Depression-era glass was cut or etched. The glass
was handmade and done in a variety of colors including green, blue, yellow, pink, topaz,
black, etc. Please note, the number (#) preceding each item refers to our inventory
number. Please use the number when inquiring or ordering. Thank you.
