Sportsman's Series
Red

The Sportsman's Series was made by the Hazel Atlas Glass Co. in the late 1930's.  It is known as Sailboat and the Sportsman Series also.  It can be a cobalt blue, red or clear background decorated with white pictures such as sailboats, cowboys, dancers, windmills, fish, etc.  IThe white should be really white and in good condition with no wear.  The shape of the plates is Moderntone.  The 2-1/4" shot glass is the hardest piece to find.  The dinner plates can be elusive.  (We are sorry but we cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale.  If you need to see a picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
