Kitchen Glass
Reamers
Reamers are orange juice squeezers. They were
made in dozens of different shapes and colors as well as materials. There are glass
reamers, ceramic, porcelain, china, metal, precious metal and wood reamers; and don't
forget plastic. They were made by many different companies but probably the most
well-known is Sunkist. Sunkist did not make the reamers; they had glass
manufacturing companies make the reamers for them so they could give them out to
customers, distributors, etc. Glass reamers were also made by Anchor Hocking, U.S.
Glass, Fenton, McKee, Thatcher, Federal, Hazel Atlas, Jenkins, Etc. The definitive
reference on reamers is And Many More Reamers by Mary Walker.
