Elegant Glass
Pied Piper
The Heisey Glass Co. started in the late 1800s.
They began making pressed glass in crystal (as in color). Color was not introduced
until the 1920s. Heisey is considered by many to be the premier glass maker.
The name Pied Piper refers to the etched design. It was made from 1924 to the 1942. It was
made in crystal; but, we don't know if it was made in any other colors.
We do know that the line contained 31 different shapes/pieces.
However, we have no clue as to what the other pieces may have been.
