Elegant Glass
Paden City

Paden City Glass began in 1916 in Paden City, W.VA.  They began by making simple tableware and hotel ware.  After a few years they became more advanced and offered etched glass.  In the 1920s they began producing colored glass and it is some of the most beautiful found today.  The patterns were intricate and quite beautiful and not much was made so it is highly sought after today.  Paden City is responsible for the pattern "Peacock and Wild Rose" which will be found under the "depression glass" category.  We feel it should truly be in the "elegant glass" category.
