New Martinsville Etched

Like so many other glass companies New Martinsville Glass was located in West Virginia in a town by the same name.  They began operations in 1901.  They made a variety of items including tableware, lamps, vanity sets, smoker sets and liquor sets.  Every color of the rainbow was included in their inventory plus amber, wine, evergreen and ruby.  Designs were innovative and included crystal animals.  Their vanity sets were among the most popular of the depression era and are highly sought after by today's collectors.
