Elegant Glass
New Martinsville

The New Martinsville Glass company was started in 1901 in New Martinsville, W.VA.  They made a great deal of glass for the bedroom/boudoir such as perfume bottles, dresser sets, vanity jars, etc.  They also made a whole line of lamps, smoking and liquor sets.  They began making colored glassware in 1923 and their colors included wine, blue, amber, black, canary, amethyst, etc.  They were bought out in 1944 by Viking Glass.
