Morgantown Glass
Art Moderne
The Morgantown Glass Works of Morgantown, W.VA. was one of the greatest innovators
in glass design. Its unusual shapes placed it a step ahead of the other companies of
the times. Art Moderne refers to the shape of the goblet. It is
highly collectible and rather hard to find so it tends to be much higher priced
than other Morgantown shapes. It is also used as a blank for various
etchings. Below, one is a combination of etching and cutting.
The pattern is #727 "Victoria Regina", circa 1931..
Please note, the number (#) preceding each item refers to our inventory number.
Please use the number when inquiring or ordering. Thank you.
