Depression Glass
Lorain Yellow
Lorain, also known as "Basket", was made by
Indiana Glass in both green and yellow. The plates are square. It was made
from 1929 to 1932. The mold edges tend to be rough and is part of the manufacturing
so don't let that deter you. There were not very many pieces made and the the
8" bowl and the dinner plate are the hardest to find. (We are sorry but we
cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale. If you need to see a
picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The Collector's
Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
