Depression Glass
Jamestown
Jamestown is technically not depression glass.
It was made by Fostoria from 1958 to 1982. You can find a complete listing of pieces
and colors in Collectible Glassware from the 40s, 50s & 60s by Gene
Florence. Not all pieces were made in all colors. The colors are amber, brown,
amethyst, crystal, green, blue, pink and ruby. None of the pieces are terribly
expensive, all being under $150. It appears that the pitcher in blue, pink or ruby
as well as the salad set and the pedestal salver, are the hardest and therefore the most
expensive pieces.
