Elegant Glass
Imperial

Imperial Glass was founded in 1901 in Ohio. Their first major achievement was "iridescent" glass which today is the highly collectible "Carnival" Glass. One of the biggest selling patterns was Candlewick. In 1940 Imperial bought out Central Glass Works and in 1958 Imperial acquired the molds of both Heisey and Cambridge. Imperial was sold to Lenox in 1973.
