Depression Glass
Horseshoe Green
Horseshoe is also known by a number, 612. That's
the "name" it was given by the manufacturer, Indiana Glass; however, due to the
design it has come to be known as Horseshoe. It was made from 1930 to 1933. It
comes in green and yellow with occasional pieces being found in pink and crystal.
There are no dinner plates in this pattern; however the lunch plates are a little over
9" and can certainly be used as dinner plates. The butter dish is among the
rare pieces of depression glass so if you can find one don't pass it up. (We are
sorry but we cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale. If you
need to see a picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The
Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
