Fostoria Yellow
Fostoria is probably one of the most well-known glass
companies in the world. It began in Fostoria, Ohio in 1887 but moved
to West VA. It is known for high quality, beautiful glass. It
seemed that all their ventures were successful from glass for the home to
glass for commercial use. Fostoria was the first company to introduce
all-glass dinnerware in color. It is still in business today.
Some of the colors introduced by Fostoria were canary yellow, green, amber,
blue, ebony, orchid, azure, pink, topaz, wisteria and ruby. Some of
the colors were used in combination with crystal. The correct name for
Fostoria's yellow color is "topaz". Please note, the number
(#) preceding each item refers to our inventory number. Please use the number when
inquiring or ordering. Thank you.
