Elegant Glass
Fairfax Blue
Fairfax is another pattern made by Fostoria and again
the name refers to the shape as this pattern has no etching. The blank is often used
as the basis for etched patterns and once etched the piece becomes known by the etched
pattern name. Fairfax was made from 1927 - 1944. It was made in blue, orchid,
amber, rose, green and topaz along with some ruby, ebony and wisteria (a purple color).
Rose, blue and orchid are the most popular colors for collectors. The salad
dressing bottle and pitcher are the hardest pieces to find. All pieces below are
blue.
