Sahara Yellow

The name "Empress" refers to the shape of this glass by Heisey.  It was called "Empress" when it was made in color and called "Queen Ann" when it was made in crystal.  It was only made from 1932 - 1934.  It was made in Flamingo Pink, Sahara Yellow, Moongleam Green, Cobalt Blue, Alexandrite (a beautiful orchid color) and Tangerine.  Plates were made in both square and round shapes.
