Depression Stems
Duncan & Miller Crystal

September 26, 2013

Hi Everyone,

This past year and a half has been a difficult one. My wonderful husband, Frank, died in February after a long illness. Since then I've been dealing with everything that entails. Unfortunately my business, First Class Glass, has suffered from lack of attention and will continue to do so because of everything I still have to do. So I have decided to take a break.

Starting now, and until further notice, I will not be taking any orders for First Class Glass. Come this spring I will do a complete update and be open for business.

Thank you for your continued patronage.

See you in the spring.

Duncan & Miller first began in Pittsburgh, PA in 1865.   Their designs in crystal won many awards around the turn of the century.  In 1955 Duncan & Miller was sold to the U.S. Glass Co.  However, they had left a legacy of fine glass and glass designs including "Sandwich",   "Hobnail", "Teardrop", and "Canterbury" to name a few.  Their colors included green, amber, red, pink, ebony, ruby, royal blue, sapphire blue and many opalescent colors including blue, yellow and chartreuse.  The glassware below is etched.  The name of the pattern is "First Love" which is one of their most popular patterns.  Please note, the number (#) preceding each item refers to our inventory number. Please use the number when inquiring or ordering. Thank you.
