Depression Glass
Doric and Pansy
Ultramarine
Doric and Pansy was made by the Jeannette Glass
Company from 1937 to 1938. It is primarily found in ultramarine but there are some
pieces made in pink and crystal. This pattern was not made in a great number of
pieces and almost all of them are fairly hard to find with the butter dish, the tumblers
and the salt and pepper being the hardest. The ultramarine can range from very green
to very blue so make sure to know which shade you want when ordering by mail. Both
the ultramarine and pink were made in a children's set called "Pretty Polly Party
Dishes" which is very desirable and not very easy to find. (We are sorry but we
cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale. If you need to see a
picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The Collector's
Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
