Depression Glass
Coronation Pink
Coronation, also known as "Banded Rib", also
known as "Saxon", was made by the Anchor Hocking Glass Co. from 1936 to
1940. It is one of the shapes for which Hocking used its popular Royal Ruby
color. Although the pattern is also found in pink and green the red is the most
popular. It was only made in a few pieces so at best it can be used for accent or
the small bowls can be used for candy dishes or to hold potpourie at holiday
time. (We are sorry but we cannot email photos of each and every piece of
glass for sale.) If you need to see a picture of an item because
you're not sure what the item looks like we highly recommend The
Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.
