Depression Glass
Colonial Knife and Fork Green
Colonial Knife and Fork, also known as Knife and Fork,
also known as Colonial, was made by the Hocking Glass Company from 1934 to 1936. It
can be found mostly in pink and green but there is some crystal and the occasional piece
of opaque white. If you like simplicity this is a wonderful pattern. The stems
were only made in green but there are plenty of tumblers in the pink The cheese
dish, which only comes in green, has a wooden base and is considered rare. This is
not an inexpensive pattern to collect but it's well worth the effort and expense. As
you can tell we like it! (We are sorry but we cannot email photos of each and every
piece of glass for sale. If you need to see a picture of an item to know what it
looks like we highly recommend The Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by
Gene Florence.)
