Cherry Blossom was made by the Jeannette Glass Company from 1930 to 1939.  It was made in green and pink but you will occasionally see a piece in delphite blue which is sort of a solid powder blue.  There are rare pieces in red and jadite.  The salt and pepper shakers are among the most rare of the rare.  Cherry Blossom was made in miniature for children in both pink and delphite blue.  That set, complete in the box, is very desirable.  In the adult dishes there are several sizes of  plates and bowls as well as tumblers.  The pink can go from very pale to almost amber in some of the large pieces such as the 13" platter.  Note in the 3rd photo below, which is the round footed pitcher with the pattern at the top, there are a couple of diagonal lines just to the left of the bottom of the handle.  These are called straw marks.  The glass was set to dry on straw which would leave marks in the hot glass.  These are very common and one true way of knowing an item is really depression glass.  Also note the difference in color between the plate and the pitcher.  We enhanced the color of the plate so that you could see the center design.  The color of the pitcher is the color you will see in 90% of the Cherry Blossom you find.  (We are sorry but we cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale.   If you need to see a picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
