Depression Glass
Cherry Blossom Green
Cherry Blossom was made by the Jeannette Glass Company
from 1930 to 1939. It was made in green and pink but you will occasionally see a
piece in delphite blue which is sort of a solid powder blue. There are rare pieces
in red and jadite. The salt and pepper shakers are among the most rare of the
rare. Cherry Blossom was made in miniature for children in both pink and delphite
blue. That set, complete in the box, is very desirable. In the adult dishes
there are several size plates and bowls as well as tumblers. The pink can go from
very pale to almost amber in some of the large pieces such as the 13" platter.
(We are sorry but we cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale.
If you need to see a picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The
Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
