Elegant Glass
Chantilly
Chantilly was made by the Cambridge Glass Company from
the late 1930's to the mid-1950's. It was primarily made in crystal but there was
some black with gold encrustation made as well. Chantilly refers to the
etching. It was made in about as many different pieces as Rosepoint, which numbers
in the hundreds. It's a very pretty pattern and priced considerably lower than
Rosepoint so it's a nice one to collect.
