Elegant Glass
Caprice Blue
Caprice was made by the Cambridge Glass Company from
the late 1930's to the mid 1950's. It was made in Moonlight Blue, Crystal, La Rosa
(pink), amber, amethyst, emerald green and several other Cambridge colors. There are
a tremendous number of pieces that were made. Unless stated all of the pieces below
are transparent Moonlight Blue. However, there were also pieces made known as
Alpine, which simply means there are panels or sections that are satinized. The
Alpine comes in both crystal and Moonlight Blue. All the pieces listed below are
Moonlight Blue. The numbers you see in the description are taken from
the book on Caprice that was put together by Mark Nye for the National
Cambridge Collectors. Inc. Outstanding book. The numbers in ( )
are the number of pieces we have of that particular item.
