Depression Glass
Cameo Yellow
Cameo also known as Dancing Girl or Ballerina was
manufactured by the Hocking Glass Company from 1930 to 1934. This pattern, or one
very similar was originally made by the Monongah Glass Company which was later bought by
Hocking. Cameo is probably one of the most popular patterns. It comes in a
large variety of pieces and was primarily made in green. Some yellow and pink can be
found and on occasion you will see pieces in crystal. Cameo was NOT made in
miniature as children's dishes. (We are sorry but we cannot email photos of each and
every piece of glass for sale. If you need to see a picture of an item to know what
it looks like we highly recommend The Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass
by Gene Florence.)
