Depression Glass
Block Optic Pink
Block Optic was made by Hocking Glass Company from 1929 to 1933. It was made in
green, pink, yellow and crystal. Some pieces can be found in amber and blue.
The green is fairly easy to find and it was made in a lot of different pieces so it's not
too difficult to complete a full dinner set. There are some lovely accessory pieces
inlcuding candy jars and candlesticks and except for a couple of very rare pieces the
prices tend to be more reasonable than many other patterns. (We are sorry but we
cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale. If you need to see a
picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The Collector's
Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
