Depression Glass
American Sweetheart Pink
American Sweetheart was manufactured from 1930 to 1936
by MacBeth Evans Glass Company. You will find it mostly in pink and pink which is a
transparent white. The pink is generally quite light and the pieces, except for the cups,
sugar and creamer, are rather delicate looking. American Sweetheart was alsomade in
a deep rich blue and dark vivid red which are somewhat hard to find. There are a large
variety of pieces including serving pieces. Not all pieces were made in all colors most
notably the tumblers which can only be found in pink. (We are sorry but we cannot
email photos of each and every piece of glass for sale. If you need to see a picture
of an item to know what it looks like we highly recommend The Collector's Encyclopedia
of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
