Depression Glass
American Sweetheart Blue
American Sweetheart was manufactured from 1930 to 1936
by MacBeth Evans Glass Company. You will find it mostly in pink and monax which is a
transparent white. The monax pieces, when held up to the light will often show fiery hints
of color and it is quite lovely. Some of the monax had colored trim including a smoky black, pink, gold etc.
This pattern was also was made in a deep rich blue and dark vivid red. There are a
large variety of pieces including serving pieces. Not all pieces were made in all colors.
(We are sorry but we cannot email photos of each and every piece of glass for
sale. If you need to see a picture of an item to know what it looks like we highly
recommend The Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass by Gene Florence.)
